This week I've discovered Dropbox.

Earlier this week I had a bit of a health scare and was told to stay in bed for 4-5 days. Staying in bed for several days at first sounded like it was going to be fantastic, however after 2 hours I was bored and restless. Given the alternative was to watch Loose Women, I decided to do some work and have a look for new tools and ideas on the internet, it wasn’t long before I discovered Dropbox.

Dropbox is a program that you can download to your Mac, PC, and iPhone, I am currently using it on all three and it works very well. Dropbox makes a folder on your machine which you can use to save work and photos. You can then access this folder from your other devices or from the Dropbox website. If you edit a file on one machine it automatically updates it on the rest. You need never email yourself work or carry a USB stick again. It’s also great to use as a backup device should anything happen to your phone or laptop.

More information and a short video about Dropbox can be found on the Dropbox website.
